One of the most fun ways to get a peek into another person’s life is to experience their city like a local would -- with a homebase in a their space. LifeSwap takes the fun of living how a stranger does one step further. We’ve teamed up with AirBnB to give you a taste of what it’s like to step into someone else’s shoes. We can safely say that this is the best giveaway of any SXSW party around.
Day 4 is about the word on every marketer’s mouth. Everyone’s focusing on it, but it’s not a focused word. What does it mean exactly? Why does it matter? And how do we do it right? Attend small group workshops about mobile ads, mobile responsive site and mobile app development. Learn about the rapid rise of mobile browsing (and what that means to us) in our interactive globe installation. And hear from Ruth McCarthy, Founder of Mobili Media, about how to get caught up -- and then get ahead.

For the past 7 years, we have been scanning the globe for cohorts of climate-tech entrepreneurs ready to meet this moment with real-world impact. This year, we'll be funding our 100th company and, for the first time, we're bringing their stories from Hilo to Kansas City to Brooklyn to Madrid to you, wherever you are.
They'll help us answer some of these critical questions about climate change and Equity & Access through a collection of stories illuminated by our favorite artists.
Could you catch the replay? Sure, but you’ll miss what makes this TEDx experience Elemental: the community. #ClimateAction is a team sport, and I hope you (and your family and friends) will join the first game of our new season. See you in the front row!
Innovation happens when people with a unique ability to imagine a world that most of us can't see are audacious enough to make their wildest dreams a reality.

Virtual Dance Party with live music from Tavana on the Main Stage
Last month, he released a new album called Sway. He's basically a one-man band. His Instagram bio reads "multi instrumentalist" and that's because he plays every sound you hear live, which is something only a multi instrumentalist can do.
Meet the Entrepreneurs
The entrepreneurs you'll hear from at TEDxElemental will gather in another room. Stop by and say hello.
Elemental Alumni Film Festival
In a separate room, we'll be hosting a film festival featuring Elemental entrepreneurs from past cohorts. We'll screen short films created by our Filmmaker and resident storyteller Bobby Bailey.
At TEDxElemental, you'll hear stories from 19 entrepreneurs and see the work of a dozen photographers who captured the 🌍 world 🌎 of climate tech through their lens. The two professions are actually a lot more alike than one might think. The importance of timing is ever-present in each. If you're in the right spot at the right time and ready to capture the moment, you'll create magic.
For over a decade, we've been building a platform to address climate change and social equity at the same time. These two worlds have converged now more than ever. But at the time, this had never been done before. There were tech accelerators kickstarting the next Airbnbs and Snapchats of the world inventing new markets for technology to play in, and there were environmental justice and community organizations advocating for social and environmental progress.
So, we started an Excelerator with two ideals in mind: 1) entrepreneurs are the right change agents because climate change requires urgent action and entrepreneurs are wired to scale solutions at speed, and 2) all deployment is local. Each year, we select a cohort of companies with technologies and business models that uplift planet and people. We provide them with the resources to grow faster than they would on their own with a keen focus on deployment, where the ideal becomes real.
